Mark has been in the computer industry, in one form or another, for more years than he cares to remember. In past computer lives he was a main frame computer operator, data center manager and a programmer. His current computer life as an independant computer consultant has lasted 23 years.

Mark is an avid scuba diver and taught scuba diving for many years. His favorite underwater activity is hunting, including spearfishing and lobster diving. He spends most of his weekends out on the water. The photo you see on this page is a shot of Mark with an especially nice yellowtail. He cleans and cooks his own seafood and is especially fond of sashimi.

Mark Perlstein was born in upper New York state, raised in New Jersey, and moved to California in 1960.
